He earned his BSBA degree in Finance and Management at the University of Florida and his MBA at San Francisco State University. He served as a lieutenant in the US Navy and worked most recently for the Duke University Health System.\n\nAl’s character was refined through suffering, and it was a gift to his family and friends to see the man God created him to be. That man became more visible as his understanding of God’s love and the cross grew. We rejoice with him that he is face to face with our Lord now.\n\nThe family expresses their heartfelt thanks to Redeemer Presbyterian Church for the love they’ve shown to Al and his family through many acts of kindness during the course of Al’s illness and in the days since he was called home.
