With loved ones by his side, Chuck passed away peacefully at his home in Raleigh, NC, on February 11, 2024, at the age of 70, following a year-long battle with cancer.\n\nChuck was raised in Greentown, IN. He graduated from Eastern High School in 1972, then continued his education at Kettering University, formerly known as General Motors Institute (GMI), and in 1977, he earned a baccalaureate in mechanical engineering. At Kettering, he was a proud Phi Delta Theta fraternity member. He continued his education with postgraduate studies in finance at Michigan State University.\n\nChuck married his wife, Patty Cummings, on August 21, 2015, in a beautiful ceremony in Indianapolis, IN. He was a long-time resident of Laingsburg, MI, where he raised his family with his former spouse, Denise Holman. \n\nChuck began his professional career with The Christman Company. Through Christman, he developed a passion for construction management and ascended the ranks to become a Vice President, shareholder, and board of directors member. He continued working in the industry and held positions including but not limited to President of Paragon Construction Company, East Lansing, MI; Senior Vice President of NPR Group, San Antonio, TX; Vice President of Allied Diversified Construction, Carmel, IN; and Vice President, DTN Management Group, Lansing, MI.\n\nChuck was very proud of his contribution to the construction of the Breslin Center at Michigan State University. His other local and national projects included K-12 schools, GM dealerships, shopping centers, hospitals, power plants, and student housing. He also spent many years as a national and regional developer, builder, and property manager of several multi-family housing developments. He loved his work and continued working until shortly before his death. \n\nChuck and Patty’s love for each other was strong and evident to everyone who knew them. Together, they enjoyed traveling, visiting family, participating in local events, visiting local parks, and spending time at the beach. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed golf trips with his many friends. Despite his illness, he attended last summer’s annual golf trip with his friends in Michigan. He played cards every chance he could. His favorite card game was Gin, which he loved to play with his friends, son-in-law Noel, and grandson Merrick. He enjoyed having intellectual discussions with his granddaughter Paige, watching his grandson, Jamie, participate in multiple sports, watching televised sports with his grandson Dillon, and family get-togethers with grandsons Sean Jr. and Dominick. He also enjoyed time at Scenic Lake with his grandson Keyin and granddaughter Taylor. He was an avid reader and always had a book in his hands. \n\nHe was a member of Austin Lodge #128 in Tipton, IN, Murat Shrine of Indianapolis, IN, the Indianapolis Scottish Rite, Post 317 American Legion in Greentown, IN, and a former member of the Lansing Country Club, Lansing Rotary Club, and Builders Exchange of Lansing. An annual scholarship will be named in his honor through the Builders Exchange of Lansing.\n\nChuck is survived by his loving wife, Patty, Raleigh, NC; son, Travis (Tracy), Southbend, IN; daughter, Natalie (Noel) Peters, Kewadin, MI; step-son Sean Cammuso Sr., Cary, NC; mother-in-law, Violet Cummings, Lindenhurst IL; two sisters, Marcie (Donald) Duncan, Kokomo IN, Anne (Barry) Grant, Greentown, IN; brother, Chris (Susan) Holman, Kokomo, IN; two sisters-in-law, Maureen (Lou) Scarpaci, Antioch, IL, Sheila (Mike) Daniels, Albemarle, NC; brother-in-law, Brian Cummings, Lindenhurst, IL; grandchildren, Keyin Holman, Taylor Peters, Paige Peters, Jamie Peters, Merrick Peters, Sean Cammuso Jr., Dominick Cammuso, Dillon Cammuso; and many nieces and nephews. \n\nHe was preceded in death by his grandparents, C. Frank and Iola Jane Fisher, and Charles H. Holman Sr. and Mabel Holman; parents, Charles H. Holman Jr. and Marilyn Sue Holman; father-in-law, Jeremiah Cummings; sister Jonelle Holman; brother Shawn Holman; and brother-in-law Keith Hochstedler.\n\nChuck graciously requested his body be donated to Duke University for medical research. Jarrod was born on May 21, 1973 in Lancaster, PA to Richard Hamilton (deceased) and Pamela Johnson.  Although taken too soon, Jarrod made his mark on the world and was loved enough for a lifetime.\n\nMarried in 1998 to his college sweetheart, Jessica Edelhauser, they celebrated 25 years of marriage last summer.  Together they enjoyed traveling, playing golf and spending time with family.\n\nJarrod and Jessica went on to have three children: Emma, Abby, and Casey.  Upon their arrivals, they quickly became Jarrod’s whole world.  He often reminded each one that he loved them “to the moon and back”.  He instilled good character and a knowledge of their self-worth.  Even though his passing leaves a large gap in his family’s hearts, his life lessons and legacy will continue to guide them through the years.\n\nJarrod attended Biglerville, PA High School, LaSalle University, Philadelphia, PA and UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, Chapel Hill, NC, graduating with honors.  He was employed at Eli Lilly, CMG Partners and EnviCor Enterprises, retiring as VP of Commercial Operations.\n\nJarrod’s passion in life was golf; a passion he shared with his family and friends.  He loved hunting and reading, especially crime thrillers.  Saturday afternoons in the Fall were reserved for watching Penn State football. Doyle and Grace Youch Doyle. He is survived by his wife, Pamela R. Doyle, son and daughter-in-law, Brett and Emily Hester along with his precious granddaughter, Olivia Leigh Hester, He is also survived by his daughter, Meredith Doyle.\n\nIn addition to his parents, Graylyn was preceded in death by his brother, Grady M. Doyle and his sister, Amelia D. Minton. Graylyn served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He spent his time aboard USS Franklin D. Roosevelt 42 until he was stationed in Keflivzk, Iceland. After his Navy tour, he attended Atlantic Christian College, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He also attended Chowan College, where he played football and baseball. Graylyn was a licensed North Carolina General Contractor and earned his Real Estate Broker's License. He was instrumental in overseeing the building of many beautiful homes that he was recognized during the annual Parade of Homes for design ideas.\n\nGraylyn was a loving father and devoted husband. He never met a stranger and to call him friend meant you were blessed beyond measure. Graylyn’s favorite past time was spent at Myrtle Beach riding his Harley and fellowshipping with family and friends. Many may not know he won awards for shagging to beach music while at Myrtle Beach. Graylyn will be missed immensely by his family and friends.\n\nHe attended Calvary Baptist Church, whenever his health allowed him.\n\nMemorial service will be Saturday Feb 17 at 2:00 PM at Antioch Baptist Church 677 Antioch Church Rd, Timberlake, NC 27583. She was 81 years old. \n\nSusan graduated from Benson High School and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  She taught 5th and 6th grades in Florida, England, Raleigh, and Cary before retiring from the Wake County Public School System in 1998.\n \nTraveling the world, her cats, reading, gardening, opera, symphony and her friends and family were her greatest pleasures. She fostered long-term friendships with whom she had many fun times. Topsail Beach, with its wonderful people, sea and sunsets, was Susan’s special place. \n \nSusan was a “teaching adventurer”. Susan traveled the world for over six decades with Danny, friends, and family. As a teacher, she was able to introduce students to faraway people, places and cultures based on her firsthand experiences.  \n\nSusan valued international travel so much that when her husband Danny passed away in 1989, she established a scholarship with Go Global NC in his name. The scholarship enables a Wake County public school teacher to travel abroad every year and bring their experiences back to students. The lives of many Wake County public school teachers and their students have been greatly enhanced by this gift. \n\nBefore her death, Susan established a lifetime Go Global NC scholarship for Pender County. She was excited that Pender County teachers will be exposed to faraway places, people and cultures and bring their experiences back to their classrooms enhancing the lives of many. \n\nSusan was predeceased by her husband, Danny Royster, parents Lois and P.B. Wood, Jr., sisters Peggy McGee Hall and Deborah Wood Kennedy. She is survived by sister Bette Anne Stephenson (Tommy) of Cary, seven nieces and nephews, and twelve great nieces and nephews.\n\nDonations in memory of Susan may be made to Go Global NC at P.O. Martha was born on September 14, 1951, in Monroe, North Carolina, in Union County, She lived in Marshville, NC, till she was 9 then moved to Caledonia Prison in Halifax County, NC. At 18 Martha went to Chowan Collage in Murfreesboro, NC, then moved to Virginia Beach, VA. At the age of 20 Marth moved to Albuquerque, NM where she lived for many years. In 1990 she moved back to North Carolina where she lived in Scotland Neck, NC, for a short time before moving to Rocky Mount, NC. After leaving Rocky Mount, NC, she lived for a short time in Durham, NC, and Apex, NC, before settling in Holly Springs, NC where she spent the remainder of her life. She was a cherished presence in the lives of all who knew her.\n\nMartha dedicated 25 years of her professional life as a Phone Representative at American Airlines. Beyond her career, she found boundless joy in traversing the globe, immersing herself in the harmonies of music, unleashing her creativity through art, knitting, and sewing, and cultivating life through her deep-rooted love for gardening. Martha's commitment to her community and faith was unwavering, she was very proud of her service to her church as a deacon and Sunday school teacher. During her final years, she spent time studying religion and Energy Medicine to learn how religion, faith, and medicine can heal the body.\n\nLeft to carry on Martha's legacy are her beloved children, John Louis Donnamaria III, Jana Kay McAlister, and Kristie Donnamaria Brown, her seven grandchildren, and her siblings, Danny Lee Hathcock and Rebecca Ann Hathcock Osborne. Martha now reunites with her cherished parents, Chloe Dell Robinson Hathcock and Harvey Lee Hathcock, whose values she embodied throughout her life's journey.\n\nIn accordance with Martha's wishes, there will be no formal funeral services. Instead, let us honor her memory by embracing her vibrant spirit, enduring kindness, and the profound impact she had on each of our lives.
