Her laugher and cheerfulness will be greatly missed by her family and friends. \nMary Lou was a faithful Catholic, a loving wife of 45 years to her husband. She was also a devoted mother to their four children. Mary Lou left a career as an occupational therapist in order to dedicate her time to raising her children. Her children recall the campfire stories she would tell them and how she would scream and cheer during road trips when the family vehicle drove through dark tunnels. \nMary Lou was born July 3, 1957 in Warren, Michigan. She moved with her family to Citrus County Florida where they lived for 26 years. There, she enjoyed the ocean and Florida sunshine. \nMary Lou lived out her Catholic faith through services to others; by bring food to home bound seniors, singing Christmas carols at nursing homes and visiting the sick. She was also an artist who enjoyed painting landscapes. \nMary Lou is survived by her husband Robert Muzzi, and four children, Marilu Grzeszykowski, Melissa Costa, Christopher Muzzi, Dominic Muzzi, and by her grandson Sebastian Grzeszykoswski. She was a devoted wife, daughter, sister, friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.\n\nApril was born on April 12, 1974 in Jacksonville, Florida and was the youngest of three daughters born to Richard and Janet Whitaker. She was preceded in death by her sister Angela Frances Whitaker Revis, Grandparents Clifford and Edna Whitaker, Grandparents John and Zelma Vaught, Uncle Jerry Lee Whitaker, and Aunt Linda Vaught Hart.\nApril leaves behind her beloved husband, Christopher H. Anderson, her parents Richard and Janet Whitaker, sister Jennifer A. Whitaker Mosely (Jeff Mosely, Madison, and David), brother in-law Guy Wendell Revis (Skyler and Lola), sister in-law Monique Gainsely-Spears (Veronica), mother in-law Kathleen Anderson (Jim) and many more cousins, aunts, and uncles whom she loved very much.\nApril’s beautiful story began with her early years growing up in Jacksonville, going to church, the beach, music, and dance lessons. She was the sweetest and most easy-going child anyone ever knew and she loved dogs. Much like her sisters, she learned to play flute and piano. She also became very involved in dance with a special focus in ballet and graduated from Douglas Anderson School of the Arts. April’s continued embrace of arts and culture throughout her life led her to earn a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Florida and a Master of Archaeology from the University of West Florida. It was during her time working on her masters in Pensacola when she met her future husband, Chris and they were married on March 29, 2003. They were joyfully married for twenty-one wonderful years. They had so many amazing times and adventures together and lived in Tucson, Arizona with their dog Barley for several years. April worked in archaeological excavations and research for Tierra Archaeology Services and was a Certified Southwestern Archaeologist. She was able to experience the wide-open desert and had a vast knowledge of the land and the ancient civilizations that inhabited it. April and Chris eventually settled in North Carolina where she was employed at North Carolina State University in the Foreign Language Department as the Student Services Coordinator. She was a beloved and respected member of the department and will be greatly missed by everyone there.\n\nHer loving kindness, honesty, and sweetness will abide in our hearts forever. April loved animals and dogs especially. She is survived by her loving husband of almost 52 years, Earl (Bud) Blackson, her son, Pierre Lauffer (Cindy Shea) of Chapel Hill, and daughters, Lori Blackson of Benson, and Cheri (John) Westfall of Rensselaer, NY.  Also survived by her sister Georgia (Robert) Beauchat, and 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. \n \nJoice was preceded in death by her youngest son, Dana Lauffer, parents, Leland Maze and Ada (Strawbrigde) Maze.\n \nOne of her many joys in life was knitting and crafting articles of clothing for cancer patients through a local church.  She also found much joy in crafting and creating one-of-a-kind pieces for all her family.  With her death she leaves a legacy of dedication, love, and much work caring for others. Survived by her daughters, Anita (Glenn Regruit) Black and Donna Black; her brother, Kenneth (Barbara) Ippolito; her grandchildren, Grace, Andrew, and Sara McCarthy; her nephew Jeffrey Ippolito and her niece Elizabeth Collins Ippolito.\n\nCindy was a graduate of Nazareth College, and she shared her love of music teaching and playing piano and the accordion. Cindy served in the Penfield School District before moving to warmer weather in Florida and North Carolina. If she was not knitting or crocheting, you could find her crafting, or playing games or cards. She was a caregiver and friend to all. She will be missed by her many close friends and extended family.\n\nThe interment will take place privately at Oakwood Cemetery in Penfield, NY.
