She passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on October 22, 2024, surrounded by the family she so deeply loved.\n\nIn 1968, Zoila pioneered from El Salvador to the United States, becoming the matriarch of a beautiful and close-knit family. She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and strength that her family will cherish for generations to come. Zoila is survived by her three children, Vilma Sengebusch, Sal Pineda, and Patricia Atwell, along with seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, all of whom will forever hold her memory close. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Guillermo (Bill) J. He was born December 7,1947 in Durham NC to the late Udelle and Joseph Miller.\n\nDavid was an active member of the community.  He was a past master of the Creedmoor Masonic Lodge, A pillar of the local amateur radio community. He managed and owned the 146.940 repeater in Butner that he kept going for decadesThe founding member of the Falls Lake Amateur Radio Club.  David retired after a 30 year career, for the State of North Carolina as a Boiler Operator, where he worked his way up to become the Supervisor of the Plant.\n\nDavid was a member of Olive Grove Baptist Church.  He was a talented musician who enjoyed playing the banjo, guitar, and the stand up bass.  He played in multiple bluegrass bands over the years, including the Veazey Ridge Boys and the Willow Creek Bluegrass Band. David loved rebuilding old tractors and was a member of the Lord Granville Agriculture Association.  David was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother who will be greatly missed and remembered.\n\nDavid is survived by his wife of 54 years, Janet S. The staff at the Laurels of Forest Glenn in Garner often spoke of his kindness and cooperative attitude.  He is survived by a nephew, William Jeffrey Leagan; a niece, Tricia Renee Daniels; and a sister-in-law, Barbara Whitaker as well as several great nieces and nephews. Sylvia was preceded in death by her daughter Sharon Lacey, son Christopher Lacey, son-in-law Michael Cashion, parents George and Inez Burrell, brother Larry Burrell, and brother-in-law Steve Campbell.\n\nA service to celebrate Sylvia’s life will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, located at 1050 M.L.K Jr Blvd, Chapel Hill, NC, on November 9 at 4pm. He also attended the University of Chapel Hill and was a devoted Tar Heel fan all his life. Neil served in the United States Navy for two years during the Korean War. A banker by profession, Neil retired from First Citizens bank where he worked for 35 years. Neil enjoyed golfing, was an avid quail hunter and a true New York Yankee fan.\n\nNeil was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Peter Vaughn Vanstory.\n\nNeil is survived by his wife of 70 years Nancy Birgel Vanstory, his three children Cindy Davidson (Rick) of Atlanta, Georgia, Neil Vanstory IV (Susan) of Raleigh, and Norris Vanstory (Ken) of Chapel Hill. His two surviving grandchildren are Cameron Lee of Roswell, Georgia, and David Lee of Atlanta, Georgia. Neil also has many surviving nieces and nephews.\n\nThe family has no memorial service planned at this time. He was passionate about the outdoors and enjoyed activities such as baseball, basketball, camping, tubing, and kayaking.
