Sam was a graduate of Harris High School and served in the US Air Force before graduating from Mayland Community College. Tammy leaves behind her five beloved children: Stormy Brown, Harmony Whitley, Cheyanne Klavitter, River Norris, Dakota Brown, and Sarah Klun. She is also survived by her loving father, Thomas Norris; her brothers, Doug and Thomas; and her sisters-in-law, Amanda and Jamie.  \n\nTammy will be remembered for her fierce, loving spirit, her infectious laugh, and the immense courage with which she lived her life. No matter the trials she faced, Tammy’s resilience was nothing short of extraordinary. She confronted life’s many challenges with a strength and determination that inspired everyone around her. Her will to live and her unwavering love for her family touched the hearts of all who knew her.  \n\nThroughout her life, Tammy fought with unrelenting bravery, especially in her battle with illness. Her perseverance and the grace with which she faced each day were a testament to her unbreakable spirit. Tammy is now reunited with her beloved mother, Laurie, in Heaven, where she will continue to shine her light.  \n\nThough Tammy may no longer be with us, her warmth, love, and light will forever resonate in the hearts of her family and friends.  \n\nA memorial service will be held at Carolina Beach, where family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Tammy’s life. She was lovingly surrounded by her family at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC, after a brave and inspiring battle with brain cancer.  She was 48 years old. Heidi is survived by her husband John; son Payton; parents Keith and Sabina; grandmother Ingeborg; sisters Lindsey (Kasey) and Katie (Patrick); sisters-in-law April (Jason) and Kama (Donnie); father-in-law Johnny; grandmother-in-law Nellie; five nieces; and six nephews.  \n\nHeidi was born on April 4, 1976, in Nashville, TN. Heidi was the oldest of three sisters, who only grew closer with age. She graduated from Northport High School in 1994, went on to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree from Appalachian State University, then excitedly earned her Master’s degree in clinical counseling from Colorado Christian University. Over her multi-decade career, most recently working with One-Eighty Counseling, Heidi touched the lives of hundreds of people. She went into each therapy session thoughtfully with prayer, meeting each client where they were, and with love and grace challenged them to grow.   \n\nIn 2016, Heidi married the love of her life, John, after meeting at New Hope Church in Durham, NC. Along with son Payton, John and Heidi embarked on many adventures together from entrepreneurship to growing their faith, all contributing to their beautiful marriage they shared. Though Heidi is no longer with us this side of Heaven, her legacy will impact the lives of all who knew her for years to come. She was born November 2, 1927 in Prospect Park, NJ to the late John and Barendje Berrevoets, immigrants from Holland.  \n\nShe is survived by her caring children Linda Leeds Rust, Richard G. (Terri) Leeds, Jr., Nancy J. Leeds, daughter-in-law Debbie Leeds, 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by her brother-in-law George Schork, and sisters-in-law Janice Leeds and Emily Crane.  \nShe is predeceased by her husband R. Gilbert, son Nelson, son-in-law David Rust, grandson Ryan, great grandsons Kyle and Jacob, parents, and 9 siblings Gertrude Pearson, Alida Adams, Johanna Stroher, Cornelis Berrevoets, Dina Fiedler Adams, Grace Aretz, John Berrevoets, Violet Schork, and Lily Berrevoets.\n\nLena attended Audubon Gospel Hall and Marmora Gospel Chapel when living in NJ. After moving to NC, she attended Pittsboro Bible Assembly in Pittsboro. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior. Gently and quietly she served and encouraged her family and others by faithfully praying for them, corresponding with them, and mailing in “Bible Searchers” completed by others, and sending out “Messages of God’s Love.”  Her frequent saying “Keep looking up” was routinely written or spoken to all who knew her. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, including 100 Raggedy Ann dolls, making puzzles, and weeding. Grandma’s homemade spaghetti sauce was a family favorite.\nThe many prayers, cards, letters, texts, and visits from family, friends, and residents were greatly appreciated. Special thanks to Pittsboro Christian Village Care Home staff for their exceptional loving care for 3 years. The additional support from Liberty Hospice based in Sanford was outstanding and invaluable, especially CHHA Ashley Brownlee.\n\nA celebration of life will be held at Marmora Gospel Chapel on April 25, 2025. Faye was born on December 20, 1942, in Annandale, VA to the late Hinton and Alice Duffer Harris. She married Glenwood E. Kerrick on July 25, 1963, after he was honorably discharged from the Navy. They were married for 55 years and had three children.\n\nFaye is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Timothy) Ratcliffe, her son, Matthew (Londereé) Kerrick, daughter, Danielle (Richard) Bennett; her grandchildren Cason, Kathryn, Ryan, Emily and Connor; and her brother, Franklin E. Harris (Virginia). She is predeceased by her husband, Glenwood E. Kerrick, her brothers, Hinton H. Harris, Jr. and Roland T. Harris, and her parents, Alice Harris and Hinton H. Harris, Sr.\n\nFaye worked for the Department of Commerce in Washington, DC, as a secretary in her first years of her career. While her children were school age, she worked as a bus driver for Calvary Christian School and Immanuel Christian School in Virginia. Later, she worked as a Logistics Support officer for the CIA until she retired in 2002. After her retirement, she and Glenwood moved to Wake Forest, NC where they have resided for the past 19 years.\n\nWhile living in Virginia, Faye was active in her church, Calvary Road Baptist Church. After she and Glenwood moved to North Carolina, she went to Neuse Baptist Church, where she faithfully attended and served.\n\nFaye's heart was for missions, and she supported many missionary families. She also gave to charities that would further the gospel of Jesus Christ. She would tell everyone she met about Jesus and invite them to church. It was her passion that everyone would know God as their personal Savior.\n\nHer Memorial Service will be held in Wake Forest, NC at Neuse Baptist Church at 10 a.m. on December 7, 2024.
