She was a loving woman that was loved, is missed and will always be cherished.  \n\nTina was born February 1st 1978.  She graduated from Athens Drive High School and attended Changing Lives Youth Group at Crossroads Fellowship.  She had a strong faith in God, a kind heart and a  friendly personality.  She loved writing, taking photos, traveling but most of all her children.  There was never a day, that went by she didn’t brag about all her beautiful children.  Tina is survived by her daughters, Sophie Haynes, (10) Hope Opedun, (8),and Olivia Haynes, (1).  Her mother, Bonita Haynes, her sister, Tuneka Carter, her sister, Shanette Haynes, her brother, James Haynes and her sister, Angela Connor. Torrie had several careers over her lifetime, of which being a mother made her most proud. The career that fulfilled her the most was an LPN. She worked in several fields of nursing but found her passion in correctional nursing. Those who were blessed to know Torrie knew what it meant to be bear hugged in the best way and hardly ever saw her without her beautiful smile.\n\nTorrie spent the last several years battling a series of medical issues that she took in stride. Unfortunately, Torrie’s body grew too tired, and she passed on October 7, 2021 in Durham, NC surrounded by her family. Torrie is survived by both of her parents Constance (Mike) Wall and Ricky (Mary Ellen) Platts, her two brothers Steve (Denise) Platts and Ricky (Diana) Platts, half-siblings Megan Schroeder and Tyler (Brittany) Platts, her 3 children Kristina (Scott) McGuire, Kayla (B) Bauernfeind, and Kory (Laura) Hickerson. Torrie was a grandmother to 4 beautiful grandchildren: Brooklyn, Braden, Aylah, and Aubrie. Torrie was preceded in death by her granddaughter Brooklyn. \n\nThere will be a celebration of life for Torrie at 1:00 PM on November 7th, 2021 in Woodbury, TN. She joins her husband of 54 years in the hereafter. \n  Those left behind include, a younger brother, 2 sister in-laws, nieses and nephews. As well as a daughter and son in-law, and a son and daughter in-law along with 4 grandchildren and countless friendships.\n    Patricia was a faithful wife, a loving mother as well as an accomplished realtor. She held titles of; GRI, ABR, & CHMS. Patricia began her career in the mid 70s. She and her husband founded their own real estate company 10 years later ' Freedom Realty.  She retired from real estate in the mid 2000s at Keller Williams realty.\n    Sadly as health diminished to the point  of needing skilled care. Her spirit did not . As she made many dear friendships before her passing.\n   As her health took a turn for the worse, she ralleid. With her family surrounding her to say their final goodbyes. At the time of her passing, she was listening to songs from the 70s. The last song to hear was 'Kathy's Song' by Simon & Garfunkel. She squeezed her son finger, as if saying Thank you and slipped away.\n   She will be missed but never forgotten.\n    A memorial service is planned for October 30th, at 2 pm. At St. Francis of Assisi church, 11401 Leesville rd. When she moved to Raleigh, she became a preschool teacher and taught young children at Asbury Methodist for over 25 years. \n\nBeth is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Peter Gaspar, her son, Tony, of Raleigh, NC, Marjorie Dillinger and husband Buddy; brother, Howard Hudson and wife Mary; step daughter Robynn Gaspar Llano and husband Angel; and grandson Seth Llano. She is also survived by six nieces and nephews. A virtual memorial will be held with family and friends at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that memorial gifts be made in Lee's name to the American Cancer Society, or Transitions LifeCare.\n\nLee was born March 11, 1961 in Groton, Connecticut the third of four children born to Captain John Noel Morrissey, USN and Barbara Ann Hatch Morrissey.  Lee grew up on various military bases including tours with her family in Groton, CT, Alexandria, VA, the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD, and Boston, MA.  She graduated from Fort Hunt High School in Alexandria, VA in 1979  finishing as the valedictorian of her class and was a member of the record setting high school girls track team.  Lee went on to attend the US Naval Academy for one year, then transferred to Virginia Tech where she earned a BS in Computer Science.  She was an active member of the Kappa Sigma sorority.  Later, she earned an MS in Computer Engineering at NC State.  Lee worked as a programmer for IBM for 10 years. There she met her future husband, Timothy Smith.  Lee and Tim were married in the Duke University Chapel in 1987.  They lived in the Raleigh and Cary area throughout their 34 years of marriage raising their two children and one guinea pig.\n\nLee was the consummate mom, doing everything she could to raise her kids to be kind, generous, and caring.  She was a very engaged parent,  assisting with school functions, dance trips, recitals, tennis matches, cross country races, swim meets, tennis meets, and even debate contests.  When going to one of the debate contests, she had planned to just give the group of kids a ride.  But, she was asked to judge a debate even though she had never been trained to be a judge.  They couldn't have picked a better person!  Lee was also a big fan of water aerobics. She leave behinds her fur babies Petey and Bandit who she loved with all her heart.  \n\nLouise’s presence was one of a kind . Her funny outgoing personality would light up any room she was in. He gave his life to Jesus as a young adult and recently served as the Director of Children and Youth Ministry at Clyde’s Chapel Baptist Church in Wendell.  Following a call into ministry, he pursued studies at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.  Christian Ethics quickly became his favorite subject and he would enthusiastically lend out books to anyone interested.  Daniel loved his community and served them every chance he had.  His favorite way to enjoy beaches, mountains, and his home was in the company of others.  One of Daniel’s greatest joys was learning how to smoke meat.  He shared the delicious results of this great hobby and talent with family, friends, and neighbors.  \nDaniel and his wife, Jennifer, were married March 4, 2006 and have a son, David. He is also survived by his sister, Christy Saaranen, husband Tim and son Kyle Upchurch of Minnesota.   He is preceded in death by his parents, Don Honeycutt and Karen Henderson.  \nIn lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in Daniel’s honor to the Charity Rebuild Center.  Donations may be made by check to “Baptists on Mission” and sent to 1333 W. Charity Rd., Rosehill, NC 28458.
